The Tucker Lacrosse Developmental Middle School Camp offers girls entering 5th-8th grade the opportunity to improve their stick skills and conceptual understanding of the game of lacrosse through challenging drills, skill building activities and full field scrimmage play. This camp is dedicated to successfully transitioning the middle school player to the high school level. We will be teaching advanced skills and tactics to help your middle schooler prepare for high school play.
Camp will focus on:
• Building confidence
• Improving stick skills and stick handling
• Teaching offensive and defensive skills and proper field positioning
• Introducing proper checking techniques, 8-meter play, man up & man down situations
• Polishing dodging, footwork and shooting skills
• Individualized goalie instruction
• Emphasis on specialty situations
• and having lots of FUN!
Staff:
Johns Hopkins University Head Coach Janine Tucker has assembled a staff of coaches that includes members from the nationally ranked Johns Hopkins lacrosse team. All are dedicated to providing campers with great individual and team instruction as well as helping campers build confidence to transition to the high school game.
